Obviously when I booked my trip to London, I did not plan on spending too much on my lodging. While looking around online, I stumbled across the Imperial Hotel and decided to give it a try. Lodging here, rounded out to about $77USD (₤54). I was in for quite a treat when I arrived.
When staying in a hotel I wanted to stay centrally located, especially in such a new place. I enjoyed the fact that the Imperial was located in the City and Law Courts. This made getting around a lot easier and staying in was fun as well. The Nigh and Day Pub was a great place to sit down, eat and chat with a few fellow Americans. With the bar open till about 1 in the morning, I enjoyed a single evening in. The room was nicely sized and quite comfortable, although a bit ordinary. There was internet access available, which made it a lot easier to check my usual work emails.
Breakfast was offered in the morning which was a nice treat to wake up to. Definitely a wonderful hotel and had an excellent stay. When touring around London take a look at the Imperial Hotel.
